Welcome to Dover High School’s website and thank you for your interest in our scholars and school!  I am very grateful and fortunate to be the principal of DHS - a school with a great deal of pride and a place where each and every person is valued and supported to be the best version of themselves - socially, emotionally, athletically, and intellectually.

THANK YOU to our teachers and staff for the work they do every day in support of our scholars.  The work is hard and it takes much planning and teamwork, but it is well worth the effort!  If you are a DHS scholar or the caregiver of one, please take a moment from time to time to send a quick note of appreciation to a teacher or staff member who has gone above and beyond to make a positive difference for others.  We all have an opportunity to make another person’s life better and often it is through small acts of kindness that we can have a lasting impact.

At Dover High School we are always looking to learn and grow.  We do that through active listening, purposeful reflection, and meaningful collaboration.  If you have any feedback or suggestions that you feel might help our school to improve, please share it with us.  We appreciate your involvement and support!

We love our scholars and we are so proud of them for their dedication to themselves, their school, and their community.  I encourage you to learn more about their accomplishments through our website, Instagram, newsletters, and live events.  Come to Dover High School and see our Dragons fly!  Go Dragons! Dover PRIDE!!!

Welcome Dover Scholars!

It is a great pleasure to be a part of Dover High School! I am the proud assistant principal of DHS. I am excited to join Dover's thriving, tight-knit community. Our mission is to develop a welcoming and positive school environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all. Come as you are and get ready to soar at Dover High School!

The goal is to create a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in all our scholars. We wish to equip you with the skills, the resources, and the knowledge you need to become high achievers and contributing members of our society. The teachers and staff work hard to develop a safe and engaging learning environment to ensure your intellectual growth. Thank them often for the work they do.

Our core principles of purpose, resilience, integrity, dedication, and excellence drive who we are as a school community. These principles give us direction regarding our actions, our words, and our sense of self-respect and dignity. The principles equate to our sense of Dover Pride!

As scholars at DHS, we hope you are intentional in showing kindness, respect, and empathy. We welcome you to participate in the well-established traditions that make us a strong community. We also commission you to be bold and daring enough to create some new traditions of your own. Go Dragons!
