Hello Students and Families! Here are your weekly updates and reminders from DHS:
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Chris Geissler to DHS! He is our interim assistant principal and he will be working with us until the end of June. Mr. Geissler has been a principal in a couple different schools in CT and he is already making a positive difference at DHS.
The courtyard has been updated with new outdoor furniture. We have an outdoor classroom area and more furniture under the canopy for reading and relaxation. Students are enjoying eating, talking, and playing cornhole and Spikeball!
The Blood Drive is all day on Thursday in the library and it is being run by the National Honor Society. Please consider coming on school on Thursday to donate.
The College Fair is also happening on Thursday in the gym from 1-2 PM for high school students. Students will have the opportunity to meet reps from different colleges and universities. Students who are planning to go to college are encouraged to follow up with the reps to arrange visits and learn more about their schools.
