Hello Students and Families! Here is your weekly post with reminders and updates:
Congratulations to the students who were accepted into one or more of the 5 honor societies at DHS - National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math), National English Honor Society, and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica. Each society held their inductions on Thursday, 6/4 and we are so proud of our students for their commitment to learning and service.
The Guitar Club held their annual end-of-year concert on Friday, 6/5 in the DHS courtyard! The music and vibe were amazing! They are ROCK STARS!!!
Congratulations to the track team - we're going to STATES!!! These student-athletes are competing at the NYS Track & Field Championships in Rochester next weekend:
The girls 4x100 relay team - Abby, Cheyenne, Sofia, Nina & Shiloh
The boys 4x400 relay team - Luca, Johnny, Kaleb, Andrew & Majd
Micah in the 400 hurdles
Shiloh in the long jump
We have classes on Tuesday, June 9th. A few students will be taking the ELA Regents exam on Tuesday - good luck!
We have no classes on Wednesday, June 10th due to the Algebra II Regents exam - good luck!
We have several events coming up this week:
Powder Buff volleyball game in the gym on Monday, 6 PM
Yearbook distribution on Tuesday during lunch periods
Dover Theatre Company Tony Awards on Wednesday, 6 PM
Spring sports awards on Thursday, 6 PM
Senior breakfast on Friday
