update

Hello Students and Families!  Here are your weekly updates and reminders from DHS:

  • We have a group of students working on an Honors Program independent study project about health care services in Dover.  In order for them to continue on their project, they are gathering information about the medical needs for the community.  Please consider helping our students with their project by completing this quick Google Form survey about students' and families' access to health care services.

  • The application for advanced classes and programs is due this Friday, March 20th. Students who are interested in taking AP classes or joining the Dover Legacy Racing Team (Winners' Circle) next year are reminded to complete the online application by March 20th.  Late applications will not be accepted. Click HERE for the link to the application.

  • Ms. Ward and Ms. Flores recently took students to Poughkeepsie for a Women in Law event! They met various law professionals and Judge Scott Volkman.

  • Wednesday, March 18th during 1st period classes, our Student Leaders will once again facilitate Focus Groups with all DHS students.  They will be seeking student feedback on two important topics which were gleaned from the fall survey and December Focus Groups.  We are so proud of our students for sharing their opinions and working together to make our school a better place for all!

  • Thursday, March 19th is SAT day at DHS!  Good luck to students who are taking the SAT! You've got this!!!

  • Friday, March 20th we will be hosting the 2nd marking period honor roll breakfast in our new dining hall!  Congratulations to students who will receive certificates on the morning of 3/20. Your certificate is your ticket to the breakfast so keep it and bring it on 3/20!

Go Dragons!  Dover PRIDE!!!
