Remote Learning

Good evening. I hope everyone is enjoying a healthy and happy break with family and loved ones.

Hopefully you all had the opportunity to hear/see the information about the upcoming school week that was sent out by the district earlier today. Due to staffing issues, grades 3-12 will be fully remote Monday through Wednesday (1/3, 1/4, & 1/5) with the goal of resuming in-person instruction on Thursday. We will be sending out additional communication on Wednesday regarding the next steps.

Here are some things to keep in mind regarding remote learning on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week:

  • We will be following our normal 9-period bell schedule

  • Students must keep their cameras on for attendance-taking purposes and class participation

  • Students do not have to attend “Student Support” classes while remote–these will be free periods

  • Varsity and JV sports will continue with after-school practices/games Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Modified sports and all other after-school activities are postponed until Thursday

I know going back to remote learning is not the ideal way to start the new year; we are doing everything we can to plan for a safe return to in-person instruction later in the week.
